RESTON, VA. September 29, 2025 – ÍøºìºÚÁÏ issued the following statement on the Bankruptcy Court’s approval of the company’s Plan of Reorganization.
“We are pleased to announce that the Bankruptcy Court has entered a formal order approving ÍøºìºÚÁÏ’s comprehensive reorganization plan. We are grateful to have received the overwhelming support of our financial stakeholders to equitize over $8.5 billion of debt and provide new capital to fund the company’s ongoing business operations. We have also reached an agreement with Viasat and Inmarsat on revised payment terms under the Cooperation Agreement between ÍøºìºÚÁÏ and Inmarsat and for their support of the Non-Geostationary Orbit (NGSO) satellite applications that ÍøºìºÚÁÏ and AST will file with regulators in the coming weeks. Once the NGSO applications are approved, the company will emerge from bankruptcy.”
